Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup warm water
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • ½ cup mozzarella cheese (grated)
  • 1 small capsicum (sliced)
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Oregano and chili flakes (as per taste)

Preparation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Dough – In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it rest for 10 minutes until foamy. Add flour, salt, and olive oil, then knead into a soft dough. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
  2. Roll the Base – Once the dough has doubled in size, punch it down and roll it into a thin round base. Place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. Add Sauce and Toppings – Spread a generous layer of pizza sauce over the base. Sprinkle half the cheese, then arrange capsicum, onion, and cherry tomatoes evenly. Add the remaining cheese on top.
  4. Bake the Pizza – Preheat your oven to 200°C and bake the pizza for 12–15 minutes or until the crust turns golden brown.
  5. Garnish and Serve – Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves, oregano, and chili flakes. Serve hot with a side of green salad or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
